St. Paul's or St Paul's?

I actually hadn't noticed the name change, but when I created the article, I named it "St Paul's Cathedral" because that's the way it's spelled on Wikipedia and, after taking a quick look on google, various other sites. I'm not sure why that is - instinctively, I'd write St. Paul's Cathedral as well - but I don't believe it's incorrect. I'd like to revert it to the article's original name, unless someone has arguments for the current one? Crook ^{The Constantine District} 19:00, November 14, 2015 (UTC)
