Talk:Samhain
Needs major revisions[edit source]
The article as it stands at the moment is very confusing to follow as someone who has not yet played Dawn of Ragnarok and in general does not explain events and actions properly. Starting from the first sentence in "History", it says that "it was Simkin's duty to burn within it" as though this can be taken matter-of-factly, but it needs to be contextualized why Simkin had such a "duty" and why this was a tradition within the community. The entire plot involving Eivor is missing a lot of context. Why did Modron think that framing Eivor of killing Tewdwr would solve the problem of Tewdwr preaching Christianity? Why Eivor specifically? How did they plan to do this framing? How does Eivor being found in Tewdwr's house the next day... without Tewdwr being dead implicate Eivor in murder? How did they lead Eivor to being found in Tewdwr's house? What does it mean that "the plan figured out by Eivor"? Didn't she find out she was being framed the moment she was accused of a murder she didn't commit? Wouldn't it be more significant if someone else who wasn't the person being framed found out the plan to frame her? What does it mean that she saved Tewdwr from being sacrificed by Modron? Didn't Modron plan to have Tewdwr murdered earlier and have Eivor framed for it? What does Eivor playing the part of Mari Lwyd mean? Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:32, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
