Canon and not canon[edit source]
As I received and read the book, I only wrote the beginning that happened in any case. I don't read every paths. For the faction the Mange-serpents, I translated literally Mange means Eat and serpents means snakes, so the ones who eat snakes or snakes-eater. You can change if you want.Francesco75 (talk) 17:35, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- OK, I'll clear the {AmbCanon} templates since all that was written so far is the intro before the main quest. The prologue is certain to have happened instead of being dependent on reader choices. Your translation is good, I just wasn't sure how much it changed from French to English. I wonder how we will factor in alternate endings. If this follows most gamebooks I've read, it should have endings ranging from worse, bad, neutral, good, and best. Even if we accept the best end as canon, how do we deal with alternate paths to get there? – Darman (talk) 18:30, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- The book is divided in 5 sequences with a specific beginning and ending (Chinon, Antioch, beginning of the Road, desert and Chang'an). I think for the other sequences, i will sumarized its without entering in the details, just a short writting to arrive to the next sequence. I finish the book, I think I had the best ending, I read the others, they all share a main element but with variations on who died or not and the mood of the main character after the events of the book.Francesco75 (talk) 18:58, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
