Should ethnic group pages stand?

I decided to change this page from a redirect to Mongol Empire/Mongolia to a page on its own just so I can broach this topic. I think the old editors disliked having pages on ethnic groups, though I'm not sure. But I wanted to know if you guys thought it would be a good idea. We apparently already have pages for the Alemanni, the Maya, and the Taíno. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 19:19, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

And then there's all the pages for Indigenous peoples in America thanks to AC3's many name-drops. We'd already started it then, so why not continue it now? – Darman (talk) 20:15, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

I agree. Looking back at my rewrite on the Taíno article, I'd be reluctant to have to delete these pages on the indigenous peoples of the Americas because we decided not to have pages on ethnic groups after all. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 20:40, June 14, 2020 (UTC)

Surely pages for ethnic groups be allowed. Like Jews for example. Question though, is it just ethnic groups and not ethnicity? Like we don't pages on the peoples of all nationalities. V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 23:05, June 14, 2020 (UTC)
