Templar affiliation[edit source]

Thought it might be interesting to put this up here. When I went on one of Loomer's podcasts with Jeffrey Yohalem, I asked him some lore-related questions for the wiki. When I asked him about the connection between Mao Zedong and the Asassin insignia that appears over his head in the Rifts, he said that he was a Templar puppet, and revealed that all tyrants share that connection, like Hitler and Stalin. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 16:44, August 7, 2015 (UTC)

Interesting. I always thought Mao was the kind of dictator Abstergo would use to give Communism a bad image.--Bovkaffe (talk) 16:45, August 7, 2015 (UTC)
Yes.I have been thinking about Templar affiliation on Mao's dictatorship.I'm not surprised to see this becoming true. They made the bad image for Commies and good use of Socialist power.BTW,if it's possible,I would suggest a story of Mao's change(maybe not a change) to the author:the death of his first child,Mao An'ying ,who had been also his first-choice successor, urged him to maintain power above the country and people, which was exploited by the Templars, leading him to slay his comrades who stood against his desperate family-hereditary intention and befriended the US to balance the relation with the USSR.Sleeplust (talk) 14:34, August 21, 2015 (UTC)

There is no evidence to prove Mao is a Templar,The Assassin's Sign only to explain the movement was led by Assassins诸葛彻 (talk) 15:48, August 21, 2015 (UTC)

Read up top. In case you didn't know, Jeffrey Yohalem is the person who wrote all the Glyphs. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 16:01, August 21, 2015 (UTC)

Kuomintang category[edit source]

Do you guys find it awkward to categorize Mao Zedong under "Kuomintang"? I think he was technically a member prior to the establishment of the CCP and before the nationalist–communist schism, but it just seems misleading. I pointed out in my edit summary that it is similar to the problem of categorizing Arno Dorian as a Templar ally/puppet because he allied with Élise.
