Templar?[edit source]
Can anyone tell me how in the world is this guy a templar? I've unlocked his abstergo file and it says absolutely nothing about his allegiance (as for most of the characters).
In any case, can someone tell me if there are still those sweet erudito hacked files to see the true story? Or at least something that I'm missing to know this guy is a templar? :/
- Weelll...
- I created this article pre-release, and there was a period where some of the developers, I think Etienne Michon/Tim Browne/some other dude that's now left, talked about the characters and they described the Wayfarer (aka Manuel Mendoza) as a Templar in the guise of an innocent coffee farmer. Now, unfortunately, as you've pointed out, there's no actual data in-game that says "this guy worked for the Templars", so I'm not sure whether it deserves to be in the article or not. I think there's a similar case with the Firebrand.
- Also, as far as I know, there are no files hacked by Erudito, which is a shame :I By the way, please sign your posts in the future :) Crook The Constantine District 13:39, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
- If it's not in-game, it's not canon. Manuel is not a Templar. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 14:31, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
- I think Ubisoft is intentionally ambiguous; the brim of his hat is slightly curled down, giving a vague impression of a beaked hood. Jasonnorthrup (talk) 16:18, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
