Talk:Juhani Otso Berg
Ancestry[edit source]
Given Ubisoft is rarely subtle with ancestral connection these days, is there anything in database or other files of the Analyst that suggest Berg is Shay's descendant? I don't buy the fact he wears what basically is modern version of Shay's Templar coat, and even has the same metal Yddgrasil pinned on it, being a coincidence. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 22:10, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
- None as far as I can remember. Sorry for the late reply :p Crook The Constantine District 23:39, December 5, 2014 (UTC)
- Not to sound condescending, but Shay is listed as one of Berg's inspirations and people tend to emulate those they find inspiring so this is a possible explanation. Plus, Shay is Irish and Berg is Finnish. --JediMasterSam, submitted 21:28, June 24, 2016
- Ezio is Italian, and Desmond is American.

Article name[edit source]
Given how our standard practice is to list just first and last name in the article names for characters, shouldn't we move the page to "Juhani Berg" and leave the middle name in the opening paragraph? Similar to Arno and Shay's pages. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 01:10, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
- That'd be great, but he's very rarely referred to as "Juhani". It's usually Otso Berg. I'm starting to wonder if that's his middle name or a double surname, or possibly Juhani Otso being a double first name. Stormbeast ♉ The Helpful Place 01:23, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't remember him ever being called just Juhani. Which is good, as that name brings back unpleasant memories... --Crimson Knight Intercom 01:59, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Not when you install a better appearance mod for her, Crimson. --Kainzorus Prime ⚜ Walkie-talkie 03:17, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
Trivia point[edit source]
The Trivia point about "Berg's inspirations"; if this is information provided in-game, then it really should be in the Characteristics section. If it's not, then it would fall into the realm of OR or even speculation, and should be removed. Can somebody provide an adequate source for this point? --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 13:12, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Remember the audio files you unlock from restoring Abstergo servers? There's a specific subset of them titled "Berg's inspirations", all of which center around Berg examining certain historical individuals, including Al Mualim, Haytham, Baptiste, etc. However, I don't think there's one for Lucy, or Haras - I'd have to check. I do remember Lucy getting mentioned in one of those audio files, but I'm not sure whether that makes her an "inspiration" for Berg. Crook The Constantine District 13:16, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
- That's fine. In that case the information should be moved into the Personality section. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:22, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
Black Cross Outfit (Uprising)[edit source]
I got the first issue of "Assassin's Creed: Uprising" and it shows a full picture of Berg in his attire as the Black Cross of 2017. Can anyone find it? I can't seem to get a digital copy of it down. It's where he's putting it on and commenting on the suit.GZilla311 (talk) 22:38, February 1, 2017 (UTC)
- We'll get round to it once we get our hands on the digital copy. Crook The Constantine District 22:40, February 1, 2017 (UTC)
