1715 vs 1717[edit source]

So, the mission first becomes available in 1715, but her database entry lists her death as 1717. Thoughts? And no, I don't want to hear that the database is 100% unreliable in this game. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 22:49, November 17, 2013 (UTC)

It's a really shoddy explanation, but perhaps Edward simply didn't get around to it very quickly? If Jing was sent after Vance Travers in 1715, it's possible it took her about that time (although two years, give or take, does seem a bit long) to get close to them and procure the map (upon reviewing the mission on youtube, I was sort of confused whether the map the Travers brothers had was real or fake, whether they knew about its realness/fakeness, and where Jing actually got the real map then). Vance is also listed as dead in 1717, so that's pretty much a solid proof of 1717 being actual death date. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 00:35, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
What Kain says. Besides, the Database is only unreliable when the games present us with information that directly contradicts it. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:59, December 17, 2013 (UTC)

Pirate, or Not a Pirate[edit source]

If I'm not mistaken, in her bio in MP, it stated that she used piracy as a cover-up to do bad deeds. Is she still considered a pirate? TemplarAgent (talk) 03:32, December 17, 2013 (UTC)

In the character files where they talk, she calls herself a pirate queen. Na gomez01 (talk) 05:46, December 17, 2013 (UTC)

1715 can be ruled out. Edward didnt learn about the keys until 1716.--188.180.174.234 12:25, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

She died in 1717. This is on the article. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 12:57, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

After her death[edit source]

At her death, she mentions her husband, and the  real treasure map, but it seems these loose threads are never tied up. Jasonnorthrup (talk) 05:10, October 25, 2014 (UTC)

Well, Edward couldn't exactly chase them down, considering he had no leads whatsoever. --Crimson Knight Intercom 13:03, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
Seems like a niche where aborted plotlines would fit.Jasonnorthrup (talk) 14:13, October 25, 2014 (UTC)

Multiplayer quote.[edit source]

Kainzorus, what's wrong with quotes from multiplayer? Jasonnorthrup (talk) 21:22, November 4, 2014 (UTC)

They fit better on the avatar page, since they appear to be fabricated to some extent by Abstergo.--Bovkaffe (talk) 18:54, November 4, 2014 (UTC)

In Jing's case, since we have a singleplayer counterpart, we might as well look there for quotes. But to be honest, if there's nothing good in there, I say we can use the deleted quote. I don't like how there's zero context given for the multiplayer quotes though. Some sound like post mortem interviews or something...
PS, Jasonnorthrup, please sign your posts. Crook The Constantine District 18:57, November 4, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, those mp quotes are strange. I think it might be related to how the "preceptors" were "acting strangely"- the in-game rationale for assassinating them at the end of  wolfpack.  Did they come back to life in the animus?  Jasonnorthrup (talk) 21:29, November 4, 2014 (UTC)
