Frigate?[edit source]

Can somebody confirm for me that HMS Intrigue is in fact a frigate? The encyclopedia calls it a Man O' War :s If somebody would be able to verify which of the two it is (I don't have access to the game right now), that'd be great. Crook The Constantine District 19:29, July 12, 2014 (UTC)

The only thing I can say is, visually, it's way too small to be a M'O'W, and generally looks about right for a frigate. The crewman AI also calls it out as such during the mission. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 19:44, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
In-game dialogue trumps the encyclopedia, and In-game it is a frigate. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 10:29, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
Alright, I'll make a Trivia section for it then. Thanks guys. Crook The Constantine District 10:32, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

Cause of defeat[edit source]

Something else that I was wondering about regarding HMS Intrigue: the article mentions a gust of wind allowing the Jacobite an opportunity to launch a full broadside and then sink the Intrigue. In-game, I'm fairly sure the Intrigue is struck by lightning, causing it to lose quite a bit of health and making it easier to defeat. Now, I'm not sure if those two things (gust of wind vs lightning strike) contradict each other, technically I suppose those could've still both happened. Is there any mention of a lightning strike in the Black Flag novel? Crook The Constantine District 10:51, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

No. EDIT: The fact that it was not mentioned in the book was not an invitation to remove the information shown in-game. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 14:40, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
