The name seems likely to be Gu Dayong,not Yu Dayong.

The name “谷大用” should be pronounced "Gu Dayong" in PINYIN and 谷 is Gu when used as a surname as I know,so the spelling in the wiki below seems correct:

Yes, they're the same, but the game seems to handle the name Yu Dayong, so we'll have to stick to that one. -- Master Sima Yi _Talk 15:32, April 2, 2015 (UTC)

Move to Gu Dayong

The reading of Dayong's surname 谷 should be Gu, not Yu. See the Wiktionary entry for example. The only time it uses the unorthodox reading yu is in the transliteration of the Tuyuhun people's name. Our naming policy states that we correct errors like this. Formerly, applying this policy may have been more debatable, but since Blade of Shao Jun has also now corrected the mistake, I think we should move this page to Gu Dayong.
