Talk:Grand Bazaar
Candidate for deletion[edit source]
We do not know if this will definately be a location in AC: R so can this page be deleted. Kaloneous 08:33, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
It's been in the promotional stuff, so people think it should be on here. Go to the [Palmyra] page, someone added it while we don't even know if it's Palmyra. I'll reword this page, though, and delete the speculation parts. UDITORE 08:53, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for that UDITORE. I didn't want to edit it myself unless I was sure. Great job on the edits too. Kaloneous 09:49, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
Grand Bazaar or Egyptian Bazaar?[edit source]
Since I'm currently on a trip to Istanbul (and now I can't wait for ACR, epic location), I found out that the Grand Bazaar is not next to the Golden Horn whereas in the gameplay trailer, Ezio leaves the bazaar and arrives just next to the port. There's another bazaar in Istanbul however which begins right next to the port. It's called 'egyptian bazaar', or 'spice bazaar'. I might be wrong though, just wanted to point this out. Grand Bazaar Built in 1461; Egyptian Bazaar built in 1660. Andre982d, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
Good point, however: The district was used as a bazaar before the actual bazaar building was constructed. Anyway, you're right though, I just compared the gameplay video with the actual Grand Bazaar. There are certain fountains that can be seen both in the gameplay video as well as in real life. Question solved ;) StPerkele 21:24, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
