Leaders of Messara[edit source]

Considering the contents of Melanthos' letter to his father, it's quite fitting that said leader in my game came with the epithet The Dreadful. His description was fitting as well: "It's said when the Dreadful went to battle, the enemy would retreat. Stories of his ruthlessness spread, but the truth to them is unknown. Either way, people felt it was safer to believe them."

Also fittingly, after deposing him, the new leader was called 'Ptolemaios the Ambitious'. Whose description was also fitting, considering how he comes across as in Gortyn Out of Hand:"Ptolemaios' thirst for power was said to never be sated, even after he was elected to be a member of the boule. He felt his mind and his goals were better served by himself instead of others. It's said the only time he welcomed the company of others is when he wanted to use them for his own gain."

Given these, I have a question: are these scripted (like Cultist Leaders), or random up to a level or two? Sadelyrate (siniath) 11:39, October 21, 2019 (UTC)
