Giovanni Borgia is a decendent of Brutus[edit source]

In the memory "Et Tu Brute?" he is is apparently dreaming of his ancestors(Bleeding Effect caused by the Shroud) and the dialog in one of the events coresponds exactly to what Brutus wrote in the Scrolls of Romulus. --Jedted 07:36, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

The memory "Haunted" seems to be suggesting he's suffering from the Bleeding Effect in some way too. Cool. Rehevkor 14:36, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

Consus[edit source]

There is an image of what is (apparently) Consus in the memory "ENTANGLED" in Rome sequence one. 78.86.152.174 11:12, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Future[edit source]

I think that he will be important in the future, adding to his current importance to the series, due to the fat that he is the descendant of a templar grandmaster, Rodrigo Borgia. Therefore, if his descendant is found then the assassins/templars can use the animus to view Rodrigo's memories which would definatley be of interest to either group. There are already MANY descendants of Rodrigo Borgia (who had at least 5 children I can name off the top of my head). For example, one of the actresses on That 70's Show is descended from Lucrezia. Vaxis7 16:15, March 24, 2011 (UTC) --- Who is the chinese man Giovanni sees in the 1542 memory? I've been searching around a bit and i can't find any references to an important chinese event in those years, only some Japanese (for example the first encounter between Europeans and Japan in 1542).

Consus Theory[edit source]

On Wikipedia, Consus is described as one of the 6 gods and goddesses each that meets with Jupiter to decide if he would destroy or leave a city alone. Minerva and Juno were both on this counsel with him, so maybe a conflict arose in the council when it came to deciding if humans should be destroyed or if Adam and Eve should be "exiled" or if Eden should cease to exist altogether. Maybe some of the council wanted Adam and Eve and other hybrids to die because of the fact that they were immune to the mental control of the POEs and thus be able to lead a rebellion. Minerva seemed to be compassionate to humans and the hybrids and Juno seemed more aggressive so maybe a schism disrupted the council and gave Adam and Eve time to grab one of the Pieces while they weren't looking. This caused the distraction thus TWCB were an endangered species and had to intermarry to survive in some way. Perhaps Juno is trying to regain her possession of the Apples. This leads me to believe that the nexus Altair, Ezio, and Desmond reach is when they all discover the memory of one of the council members when everything went bad (the conflict among TWCB and the war between humans and TWCB)--Jupiter maybe, since he was unfaithful to Juno and had half-human half-'god' children in Roman mythology. Thoughts? And a question: whose memory did the Truth sequence come from? The camera is 3rd person. Sorry if this strays waaaaaay off topic but I had this all come to me at once. "This is the greatest variety of Pieces of Eden that any one character has been known to encounter. "[edit source]

Ezio has seen two Apples, Papal Staff and six memory seals. Xeoxer 16:39, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Memory seals are PoE? -- Ilan (XDEditsHome ) 17:00, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Memory Seals are not POE, but are made of the same material(I guess). Yeah and Xeoxer is correct that Ezio has also encountered the same number of POEs.IlMualim 19:29, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Animus Hack[edit source]

Just in case someone wants to add this, the Animus Hack about the Mountebank clearly mentions Giovanni Borgia and Maria Amiel. So Erudito is fully aware of all Project Legacy memories (well, this is to assume, since he released them to the public - interesting stuff anyway). StPerkele (talk) 00:24, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

Cesare the father?[edit source]

Even though I have the feeling that nobody really reads this talkpage anymore, I'll post this anyway:

Why does it still say that Cesare might be Giovanni's father? Giovanni relived memories of Perotto through the "bleeding effect", so he is obviously the father. StPerkele (talk) 13:31, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Unusual year discrepancies in Giovanni's life[edit source]

So I found myself reading through the Assassin Intel/Reconstructed Data in Syndicate, and I couldn't help but notice that the chronology surrounding Giovanni Borgia doesn't make a lick of sense.

Giovanni is assumed to be a baby in 1498 (per the entries on what is assumed to be his father, Perotto Calderon, entries 018 through 021. Despite supposedly being born in or at most two years prior to 1498, Giovanni is already seemingly an adult by 1503 (entry 022). In that same year, a child named Francesco is placed in his care to train (entry 023). This is assumed to be Francesco Vecellio. However, Vecellio was born in 1475. If these year of birth and events are correct, then at this time, a 28 year old "child" would be in the care of and being trained by a five year old "experienced assassin", which is of course impossible. Giovanni was apparently screwed up by the Shroud. Does it also affect his sense of time? His perception of the ages of those around him? The next five entries on Giovanni are all him descending into madness and not knowing what's what or who's who or when's when, reinforcing this theory, but it's also all still dated 1503.

As I don't have any access that I would be aware of how to obtain to Project Legacy, I'm basing this entirely off of the Syndicate database. Or is the Animus DDS supposed to be this unreliable as a plot point? Schiffy (T|C) 19:58, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Entries 022 and 023 are Giovanni dreaming the memories of his father Perotto Calderon. Entry 022 makes note of this a little further down ("Perotto. Giovanni dreamed as Perotto!"). The actual memories don't take place in 1503, but Giovanni is dreaming them in 1503. The memories are older, and include Perotto's training of Francesco Vecellio, who is much older than Giovanni and would in turn become Giovanni's own tutor. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 20:08, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
