Identity

The relationship between Goguryeo and Korea is like Frankish and France. They are related but not identical. Although the word Korea is derived from Goguryeo诸葛彻 (talk) 16:03, August 4, 2020 (UTC)

This is actually similar to other debates we've had across this wiki before regarding other ethnicities like Italians, Greeks, etc. and whether they existed prior to the people forming the current national identity. I think it's perfectly fine as well to be more specific that he's Goguryeo to avoid confusion if that is preferable to you guys. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 21:15, August 4, 2020 (UTC)
