Freyja and Frigg are distinct[edit source]
I had assumed throughout playing the game, as this article stated, that Freyja and Frigg had been combined. However, I just had a conversation with her in Asgard (she is located in "Freyja's Garden", where you first fought Fenrir in the opening arc) in which they are stated to be separate individuals.
See the subtitles of this screenshot.
Now I'm somewhat confused. Uli Talk 20:46, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- In fact, you're right, it is a bit contradictory. Also, if you go look at the screenshots of Dawn of Ragnarök, Odin can be seen beside a woman, Frigg herself. We need to correct that. Btw, would you be able to find the full conversation with Freyja? It would be very useful as that dialogue isn't registered in our article of the Extended Family memory. - TiagoFF (talk) 22:42, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- It may not be from "Extended Family", TiagoFF. It's just Freyja is standing where that memory later takes place. If it's not from "Extended Family", I wonder where it's from and if it's dependent on a player choice (if we haven't already transcribed it elsewhere, of course). But you're right, we probably should fix that point in the article since the new DLC has confirmed the women as separate people. – Darman (talk) 04:05, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- To clarify, this conversation took place well after I'd returned from Jotunheim and the second boss battle with Fenrir (in which you bind him) was done and dusted. I had returned to Asgard to wrap up the treasures and mysteries for completions sake. All three gods were available to speak to. Tyr was at the grand table where you first jump down from Odin's throne, Thor was wandering around in a lower courtyard just off from where all the feasting is taking place, and Freyja was hanging out in her garden. - Sorry, my bad. So, in that case, maybe we should list it in "Cheating Fate"? - TiagoFF (talk) 11:31, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think at the end of "Cheating Fate" would probably be best. It's the last Asgard memory and makes sense in-universe, since Odin ends the mission back at the tower and so would only have to jump down to reach Týr, Thor, and Freyja in that order as he moves further away from his throne. – Darman (talk) 12:25, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
