birth year?[edit source]

I kinda confused... how the hell she's 20 years more older than Connor? it doesn't make sense! she a least in her early or mid 20's... the same goes with Duncan Little birth year! Ubisoft always tend to get wrong the birth year of the characters?? Barruca (talk) 09:31, November 9, 2012 (UTC)

anyone???
I'm pretty sure no one made it a point to add her birth year and not know whether it's truth or not. The Admins haven't reverted the edit, so it must be true. Check the character database in the game if you have AC3. She's fictional so how could they get it wrong? She could be a youthful 40-something year old woman. Here's what really confuses me, apparently Connor flirts with her sometime in an interactive conversation in Boston. I mean, since when does Connor flirt? Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 06:55, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I wouldn't consider that flirting....more like friendly conversation, or lighthearted joking. Flirting is like, "I'll give you more than a chance." I don't think Dobs was being serious; she was just probably wanting to see his reaction. TranquilTempestQu'est-ce que c'est? 07:07, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
Well in the article (I'm taking its facts for it) that's what it says... and it confuses me because Connor doesn't flirt, he doesn't act like that... he doesn't even display exuberant qualities so I'm doubtful of it. Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 08:40, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
I know what you mean, but it's just how one person perceived the conversation. If you feel it was light hearted banter, then change it.? TranquilTempestQu'est-ce que c'est? 08:42, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
I can't very well do that because I have yet to actually recruit her, I've mostly been mucking around doing side missions and what not, when I recruit and we have that interactive conversation then I'll update with appropriate information. Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 08:45, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
I read this bit about Connor and Dobby flirting so I recruited her just to see it and I'd call it light hearted flirting. Connor seemed like he was being serious about settleing down and Dobby just lightened the mood. As for her age, Benjima Franklin says some very interesting things to Haytham (if you talk to him after you see him out the front of a General Store) that women stpo bearing children from a certain age - and back then I bet they considred being 30 far too old. I think her birth date was mixed up a bit, if aything I'd say she was two to three years older than Connor. And I'm fairly sure Connor wasn't even in his 30's when the game ended....(Harlan1500 (talk) 10:44, November 30, 2012 (UTC))
Just because Benjamin Franklin said that women stop having children past a certain age doesn't mean Deborah's birth date is off, so the chances of them having children together is slim to none. Benjamin is right, but as a woman, I know we can have kids until we're close to 50 years old. And as you said, she said what she did to lighten the mood, take off the seriousness of the conversation because Connor is a worry wart and she probably knows he needs to lighten up. Just a month or so ago, a woman 65 years old gave birth to twins. The life expectancy back then was 65 or 70 years old, so a woman about 40 or 45 would be considered "old". And Sima said he added her information from the database entry from Shaun's computer in the game. 1736 is her birth date, so she's 47 years old in 1783. If Connor were to try anything with her, he'd marry her because Mohawks strongly believe in lifelong partnership and committment; if they had no children, Desmond wouldn't be there. There's no getting around it; she's too old to have kids. TranquilTempestQu'est-ce que c'est? 15:50, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
Well Tranquil stole the words out of my brain Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 19:52, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
And I saw that conversation between Haytham and Benjamin a short time ago; a lot of what he said was true. Older women are more appreciative of attention they receive, and the chances of them getting pregnant is slim to none, so I'm sure Connor would want to be with someone who could still have children. I'm not implying anything, but if he were to settle down with a fellow Assassin or affiliate, Aveline would make more sense if he were into older women; she's much younger than Deborah but older than him. And also, the age range is 40-55 years old for women to become infertile (menopause). Okay, I'm done. TranquilTempestQu'est-ce que c'est? 20:06, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
I'd love to be able to debate with that man, Benjamin Franklin just to prove him incorrect based on one subject, then I can come back to the present time and be like "Hey, you know America's forefather? Yeah, I had a debate with that guy and outsmarted him."
Uh... I kinda just wanted to have the last say... I already agree with Tranquil so I'd just be repeating her... Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 20:42, November 30, 2012 (UTC)

I'm just hopping in, through every facts, and age and that, i will never believe she is 47 or close to to 50, Even if it says in the database, i just can't believe it

Extra Conversation[edit source]

In the article it states the Deborah and Connor have an extra conversation after she's recruited into the Assassins. Where does this take place? 123.211.162.243 08:07, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

I don't see any mention of an extra conversation, but I'm guessing you mean the one that happens in the Frontier, in the tavern that Haytham gets into a barfight in. You can even talk to her as Haytham if you're replaying the memory that contains the barfight. Lucan07Haunt me...and Stuff 08:15, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

This part of the article "Later, during a conversation in Boston, Connor exchanged friendly conversation with her. When she asked him what he planned to do "after it was all over", he mentioned the possibility of settling down and having a family, to which Carter asked him to give her the first chance, prompting Connor to agree." 123.211.162.243 09:18, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, that one. Well that takes place in Boston, obviously. Look for "Liberation Contracts" on the map. Lucan07Haunt me...and Stuff 09:20, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

I am wondering if adding a section with a detailed map for her wearabouts for the recruit mission would be something that everyone thinks is a good idea? The reason i want to add this is because I had issues finding her, and had to scower the web for clues as to her location. Even after i completed all liberation contracts,  her icon refused to show up. I am currently on sequence 10, and noticed that northern NY has no sycnronization points, so what i did was took screen shots of her spot on the map because once i came within range of her, the liberation Icon then showed up. If you go a few yard away it dissapears from the main map. Could this be a known glitch area that could be added? I can only confirm this for PC, if anyone else can confirm on other systems this could be a helpful sidenote area. Thanks Johken (talk) 06:56, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
