I'm confused.

Seriously, what in the bloody hell happened here? lol

Edward clearly kills Vane in the memory Marooned, which is in Sequence 8. That memory sequence takes place in 1718. From then on, the game makes absolutely no mention of him until Sequence 10, which takes place in 1721. At that point, his database entry says that he was arrested and hanged for his piracy in Jamaica, which is what happened to him in real life.

So, I'm confused. Did he not die in Marooned? Edward stabs him in the neck and there's even a memory corridor sequence where he says his last words. Maybe he survived, since he's still moving in the memory corridor, but usually when they do that it's because the character is dying. Vane doesn't die in Marooned. He gets picked up by pirate hunters. In "To Suffer Without Dying" you have an optional objective of 'visiting old friends'. One is a skeleton of Rackham, other is Vane in the prison cell. --Kainzorus Prime ^{Walkie-talkie} 06:19, November 24, 2013 (UTC)

the ranger wasn't demassed. I'm not sure which one but I reneged vanes ship being sunk and him vowing revenge before the treason
