I'm just going to leave a note here for now. I recently encountered a direct mention of the COVID-19 pandemic in an Assassin's Creed work, but I cannot remember which it was. I don't think that's it, the page already has that instance sourced. Just guessing, but it may even be in developer notes for AC: Dynasty special issues, eg. "this was delayed due to COVID...". It was definitely an in-universe mention because I distinctly recall it prompted me to check if we had an article on COVID-19 yet; it surprised me that it canonized its existence in Assassin's Creed. No worries! We each have our niches for what AC media we follow and how intensely, schedules permitting. Luckily, the site is a collaborative effort, so most of ACV's stuff has already been logged.
