Bill Miles = William M.?

Entertain me for a minute, but isn't it entirelly possible that Bill Miles could be William M. Now I haven't gotten a chance to read the latest comic, but I have a hunch. Bill is short for William after all and perhaps the M. is for Miles. As we have seen in countless parts of AC, names tend to be abbreviated to single letters, and if there remained a thought that Desmond might be able to gain access to the rest of the teams' emails, perhaps Miles was shortened to M. so as to not let Desmond find out about a relative of his. It would allow them to continue the research without any complications occurring such as questions that might give away information under circumstances where they might be listened in on. Of course he is! That's obvious. :P But seeing as it isn't mentioned in any Assassin's Creed, it counts as speculation and does not deserve to be on the article. -- Master Sima Yi 06:41, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

But it seems William almost make Desmond dead in the Animus(of course,he is not ), I can't image they are same guys. 2011.3.27

Desmond's Brother?

Could someone PLEASE tell me where it's been stated as fact that Bill Miles is Desmond's older, more mature brother? Because if I don't get any concrete answer here soon I'm counting it as fanmade or speculation and removing it from the page. Now can we change this?

I was wondering, now that we KNOW William M. is William Miles, and Bill is slang for William, can we now merge these two pages together? It has been all but confirmed by the Encyclopedia pictures on here, so should these be merged? User:Eggy2504 22:28, 1 September, 2011

I don't think that we can until we have actual confirmation that they are the same person. In your above statement you are presuming it is the same person on the basis of a colloquilism regionally defined.
