Anybody got any theories on its appearance; the Abstergo logo and the Spanish text? Doesn't really seem like an 'Assassin' coin to me. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 11:05, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

I find it strange that the year's on it the 'wrong' way. If not for the Abstergo logo, it looks like Spanish milled colonial coin. Do these coins do anything, or are they just collectables? Sadelyrate (siniath) 11:44, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

They are just collectables. Not very strange that they are Spanish coins seeing as Louisiana became a Spanish colony, but the Abstergo logo is very odd. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 11:48, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Note that the coin says '1788' when the game ends in 1777. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 13:32, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Wrong year on top of it being on the wrong way... :p That Abstergo logo might just be because it's Abstergo's game, and they wanted to diminish the Assassins' visible presence, but that sounds shaky to me. Especially since the Assassin insignia's visible elsewhere, and why would they want to associate Assassins in any way with Abstergo? Sadelyrate (siniath) 18:33, May 11, 2013 (UTC)
