Apprentice vs. Student

Unless there's a basis for using "student" as the conjectural name, I propose it be changed to "apprentice." Although it is wordier, the word apprentice describes his relation to the Master of the Tower perfectly, whereas student does not, as student is a more general term that also carries the connotation of an academic setting, even though it's not incorrect. An apprentice refers to a more personal student, often when one is the sole pupil of the master, while also being more common in usage in martial areas (e.g. ninja, [Jedi] knight, kung-fu) or even just a specific art (e.g. smithing). I think most of us understand the distinction between "student" and "apprentice," and using "student" just sounds awkward to me. I won't take the initiative to change it though unless others agree. Other alternatives are "pupil" and "disciple." I find the former to be too general, like "student" and the latter I think can have a religious connotation.
