Two Weapons per Character?[edit source]
Two Weapons per character? Well, it would appear so, according to live team producer Andreane Meunier in this interview from E3 2011. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bONgKmqOV30
So, what do you guys think this means? Two weapons for different assassinations or am I reading too much into this?
What only 2 weapon sets? :o I was hoping you could choose out of every weapon in the game to use, at least that's what I got from another interview with Gabe I think ow damn if it's only 2 sets imma be pissed
Is anyone else bothered by this...?[edit source]
I found it a little annoying in Brotherhood how many of the Assassinations were just killing a character with a Multiplayer character model. It was one of the reasons I felt like the Assassinations were watered down. The targets didn't feel like unique characters because they shared models with multiplayer characters, and Ezio doesn't even HAVE a conversation with them, which are the things I found most interesting about Assassinations in the previous two games.
What bothers me about the Revelations's Characters is the unlocking them by killing them in Single player. It just sounds like Ubisoft is watering down the Assassinations even more by giving you non-unique targets, at least, non-unique Assassinations with Ezio only saying "Requiescant in pace..." to them as they die.
I don't know if that bothers anyone else, but it bothers me a bit. It feels like the series is starting to be milked instead of developed. Aegis Runestone 19:51, July 17, 2011 (UTC)
Customization[edit source]
Didn't they tell us the customization of your characters would be more extensive? so I think the notation won't be like this anymore "Colors:
- Basic: White and Green
- Extra 1:
- Extra 2:
- Extra 3:
Gear:
- Advanced:
- Superior:
- Elite:"
and it also looks pretty stupid since nothing is given only blank spaces
Where are the Women?[edit source]
I was just browsing the Revelations Mulitiplayer page and I noticed that there is only one female character. Now, I know that women didn't have alot of freedom in the 16th century for... assassination, but it seems this lack of more female characters could alienate the said gender. I know that the game is still being developed, I just like your opinions on whether ubisoft is still making more multiplayer characters (Specifically ones that balance out the gender ratio) or are they trying to be more historical with active females in Constantinople during the era? Reply: - Another woman character (with a white cape and clothes) is also known, but we don't have her listed nor named in the characters list. - Tallmios
Thespian vs. Actor[edit source]
These characters are listed seperately but as the words mean the same thing i have to wonder if it's not one of the famous name changes we saw so much of in Brotherhood. Any evidence one way or the other? Ombra Lupo 02:59, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
The character's name is the Thespian. Someone had put down a source that was in a foreign language that named them as the Actor, and created a character page for them.
It's the same for the Clergyman, who's actually the Deacon. Slate Orchid 03:19, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
Also noticed that the image for the Thespian has been changed from the guy with the helmet and purple tunic and the bio now has that character as a woman. Has any source said specifically who that character actually is? Ombra Lupo 04:59, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
Individual pages - weapon moves?[edit source]
I was thinking, seeing as each character can choose a weapon from a list during this multiplayer, shouldn't their pages change? I was going to post this on their own pages, but I figured it would be better to post it here. Should their pages have the moves listed removed, or copied onto the multiplayer weapons page?? User:Eggy2504 21:49, 29 August, 2011
Well personally i think they should be kept so to keep the consistency between the AC:B multiplayer character pages and AC:R. If addition pages need to be made then that should wait (in my opinion) until we have more detail. -- ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 20:50, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
If they can use more than one weapon, when we know what they are, there could just be Unique Moves - Weapon 1 and Unique Moves - Weapon 2 etc. Slate Orchid 21:49, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
Here we go[edit source]

Revelations Beta Guide. So...
Excuse the ignorance, but...[edit source]
...will former Brotherhood MP characters be available for play in Revelations? Or are we constrained to using only the new ones.
I'm asking this because the Courtesan was my favourite in BH, and it will be a huge disappointment should I not be able to play as her again.

Good news for you then, the Courtesan will indeed reappear, as well as the Knight - however, these are the only ones. The Harlequin and the Doctor make somewhat of an appearance as well, but they will be new characters whose looks are only similiar to the old ones. StPerkele 02:58, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
Charlatan = Trickster[edit source]
Charlatan = Trickster?
It was pretty early info that there would be character like that, but maybe the Charlatan is just another name for the Trickster.
And the Trickster is pretending to be a fortune teller?

Kills and weapon customization.[edit source]
This is something that frustrated me greatly.
Remember all the unique kill animations from Brotherhood? The nobles claw, harlequinns dual daggers, and the courtesan's fan. They're all gone, replaced by generic weapons and recycled kill animations. Customization barely changes anything, maybe it adds a little spike on to the Sentinal's sword but thats it. SO what if you can change the weapon? You're just using someone else's default kills. I mean, the least they could've done is use the Switchblade instead of the hidden blade, something the templars actually invented! Rotionpotion 05:13, November 25, 2011 (UTC)
- I also noticed (sorry if this is what you're talking about) but the page for the Vanguard/Crusader state certain animations for assissinations. However, in-game they both use a low-profile hidden blade unless you aerial assassinate. --{{SUBST:Felixsig2}} 10:51, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
Is there any way to get rid of the hidden blade entirely? I mean there are no unique kills at all in this game, brotherhood at least everyone's kills were completely different with their own weapons. Everything with killing is exactly the same in this one: same weapons, same kill animations, etc.
