Humans?

The article mentions how Adam and Eve are humans. I was under the impression that they were part of the race of Those Who Came Before. Thus, they could resist to the Pieces of Eden. Their children became the first Assassins's, this is proved by subject 16, who was able to go back to their memories. So Assassins' orginated from them. And between humanity, you've got people like Ezio and Desmond, who can use that weird vision (pressing triangle in the PS3 version) and resist the Pieces of Eden (partly, at least. Proved by Altair when he was able to beat the final boss of AC1.) If Adan and Eve were normal humans, how could they escape the Pieces of Eden's control, and how did they have powers like this type of vision, which they would transfer to their children, and somehow other, normal humans lack? Oh, and not to mention the fact that their bodies don't look normal. They have some weird lines.

Biblical

Ya know I find it funny how Christianity hasn't realized the one thing that can undo their religion: The Garden Of Eden. Think about it: God planted the Garden on Earth, He created Man and Woman and all living things within it, Adam and Eve eat from the Tree of Knowledge, God banishes them from the Garden and puts a cherub at the door to guard it. So why has the Garden not been found in all the years of people exploring the planet? If a cherub is placed at the door surely someone would have seen it. God never said they couldn't look at the Garden or anything just that they are banished from entering it so therefore Christianity has a major loophole thus making it undone.--125.238.72.227 13:21, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Ya know I find if funny how the questioner hasn't realized the one thing that can answer his question: The Flood. Think about it: God sends a massive flood to destroy most life on earth, chances are that the garden would be destroyed and many of the earths features changed to make finding what might have survived nearly impossible. I'm having a bit of fun with your challenge, but seriously, whether you agree or disagree with the Bible, you should take the whole system into account when you attempt a disproof. I suspect you will find most who hold Gen. 1-3 to be historical also hold the rest of Genesis as historical. Also, I love the jump from something having a loophole to it being false or undone. Athiests like the one at the beggining think that by ridding the world of religion they will create freedom from the ashes, however it is ironic because by destroying religion they destroy the very freedom they wish to create as they would have forced everyone into a single way of thinking, the true advocates of freedom are those not of any beleif or ideology but those who tolerate anything even intolerance and those people are rarer than life on mars. And to answer the Eden argument, yes it was destroyed by God. - Kunarian

Yes am an athiest, but i do respect that people believe in a God. The only thing i dont like about religion is: The wars. Think about it, so many wars have been fought just because people didnt believe in the same God. Most strory's in the bible are the same as in the koran, just with different names. Markings on their skin

Another important point, I was watching the Truth video today, I have downloaded it in HD so was watching it carefully. I'm pretty certain that the markings on the bodies of Adam and Eve etc are suits, and not their actual skin. When you see Eve turning to say she has the Apple, you can see quite clearly a line across her neck where the 'shiny' glazed look of their body, and the markings, stops. It would also explain why their private areas are also covered. I'm sure I can take screen shots for this if anyone wants them - Maria Thorpe Feb 25 2010 18.02 (UTC)

Slaves?

I believe that's a bit of a liberal interpretation. I think the one inside holding apple is not Eve.She is red caped and looked like controlling the humans.

Minerva or some other "godess", for all we know they all dress the same. but doesn't that sceen act as sufficient proof that those who came before were controlling them and they were doing work. shouldn't the numbers of 0s and 1s in binary be in the Truth page or better yet, the Eden page? Or at least we could put it on Trivia, as it doesn't have to do much with Adam and Eve specifically.

The Truth Video

Could "The Truth" be a recording of Sixteen's animus session? How could he get footage of, like, 450.000 years ago if it was not the case? And also, it says he has ancestors in Ancient Africa. Could them be Adam and Eve? I think we should put it in the main page.

Adam and Eve: A Prophecy, Not History

I believe that the Truth video in AC2 is not a recording of an historical event, but rather a prophecy of the future. We know from the Codex pages that Altair used the Apple to see into the future and that is how he knew of Ezio and the Vault. But couldn't Those Who Came Before have used the Apples for the same purpose? Could the story of Adam and Eve be a warning of their fall rather than a recording of the past?

Now I know that before the Truth video plays in AC2 is says BCE (Before Common Era) but I'm going to brush that aside right now by saying that Subject 16 was never secure in time, so HIS view of time may be skewed.

Also, in ACB Subject 16 tells Desmond to find Eve. He could simply mean to find Eve's decendants and bloodline, but I find that unlikely as Desmond is her bloodline. No. I believe he needs to find Eve because he (or more likely his decendant) is Adam.

I think this is the case because of what the new 'mission' is after AC2. We need to now find the temples and activate them to stop the sun from destroying the Earth. While Desmond and company are off saving the world, I think Abstergo will find the PoE they need to enslave humanity. The Truth video we see in AC2 could be the world under Templar rule, and Adam and Eve are able to rise up against the Templars and lead humanity against them. In this Templar world, Desmond could need a new identity, Adam, but I find it more likely that Adam is a decendant of Desmond. The world in the Truth video seems too advanced to me. Obviously TWCB created the PoE, but I never pictured their civilization to have skyscrapers. That seems more modern.

The Templars are so arrogant that they might call their new civilization Eden, thinking it perfect like the bible, but not realizing that they are fullfilling a prophecy. Their aim for thousands of years has been to produce Eden. And 16 said to find Eve in Eden...

I think much of this world view fits because of what 16 says, "It's too late... everything you hope to become, everything you hold dear. It's already gone." So 16 is telling Desmond that his goal of defeating the Templar's is futile.

Also, the whole game, from AC1 until now could be like Inception. In that the whole time playing as Desmond, we are actually his son, Adam, in an Animus trying to find information about his dad. So to sync with his dad, Adam would have to live through Desmond syncing up with his ancestors in his Animus sessions. That could be a fun and interesting twist.

I know many things fit well with this idea, but I know just as well that there are many holes with it. As I said before, the BCE lable before the Truth video. Also I heard ideas that say it's Minerva holding the Apple in the Truth video, and after I heard that, I saw it more that way too.

Overall, I think this would be an interesting route should the game go this way, but I'm open to counter-arguments or other ideas.67.183.166.171 07:29, August 15, 2011 (UTC)sneff

I personally don't think that this page is necessary, but I don't want to put up a deletion tag out of the blue.
