Hey,

What do you think is the purpose of getting tons of Assassins/Assassin descendants together in one place to relieve their memories when they could just take a DNA sample? Some of the possibilities:

They want to make Templars out of them and training: Otso Berg style. Not very likely, considering that most of them were already Assassins and that doesn't know anything would still choose the Assassins because of what they see in the Animus and because the Templars are the ones keeping them locked. Andthey don't show them Templar propaganda, just  the unfiltered memories.

They want to study and record the Assassin's abilities to create a super-efficient way to create super-soldiers with the new Animus: Maaayyyybe. But it would still be dumb to keep the prisoners alive and super-trained once they had gone through all the interesting memories (Like Moussa).

They want to make Sleeper Agents?: Keep the old people-Assassins drugged as a front for the Rehab Foundation while brainwashing the active ones into returning to their Brotherhoods (Cross) in a staged escape (Lucy). Far fetched since there is no implication in the Movie.

Abstergo Madrid[edit source]

  • AC Odyssey's loading screen text mentions that the portable Animus was developed under Sofia Rikkin at "Abstergo Madrid" but the building was destroyed under mysterious circumstances ie Lynch's prison break from the movie. So is the Abstergo Foundation part of Abstergo Madrid or are they one and the same? Vetinari(Appointment) 02:47, January 27, 2019 (UTC)
They are one and the same. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 11:19, January 29, 2019 (UTC)
