The Spartan Soldier's Helmet was a style of helmet mainly used by Spartan soldiers in the 5th century BCE Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was a common sight, both on the battlefields as well as in the inventories of blacksmiths.[1] Despite swearing allegiance to Athens and its Delian League, the Boeotian champion and a member of the Heroes of the Cult branch of the Cult of Kosmos Deianeira also wore this helmet, which effectively hid her face.[2][3]
