South Georgia

South Georgia is an island forming the first half of the South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. During the 19th century, the territory was advertised as holiday destination for people from the United Kingdom wishing to visit the colonies of the British Empire. South Georgia was advertised as being "a desert island and penguins' paradise".
