The entrance to the Silver Foothill Trail

The Silver Foothill Trail was a cave in Cape Marmaron on the island Thasos, Greece. Located near Koinyra Fortress, it was home to several snakes. The cave had two entrances: one at the side of the Fortress and one connected to the Silver Mines.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.
