Seiji was a Japanese samurai, loyal to the Bessho clan, who lived in Harima, Japan during the late Sengoku period.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 1582, Seiji was stationed alongside other Bessho warriors at Jorakuji Temple near Kanki Castle. However, he was met by his former compatriot and rōnin Koshiro, who came back looking for his friend. However, upon realizing that they were on opposing sides, Seiji fought against his friend and nearly killed him. However, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke fortunately arrived and stopped Seiji, challenging him to a duel. Besting the samurai, the pair was given a choice by Koshiro of letting Seiji live or die. Out of his friendship to Koshiro, they let Seiji live. However, before departing, Seiji renounced his friendship to Koshiro.[1]
