- "So much devastation."
- ―Kassandra[src]
The Scorched Rolling Plains were the plains which made up a region of Boeotia, Greece. Located south of Lake Kopais, the plains bore the brunt of the Xerxes I of Persia' invasion, and scars of it still remained by the time of the Peloponnesian War.
During the Peloponnesian War, the region housed one of the few functioning farms, as well as Tomb of Menoikeus. The Daughters of Artemis had set up a camp there as well, and the region served as the battleground for when Athens and Sparta clashed around 427 BCE.[1] The region was also explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
