Sanada Estate was the estate of Sanada Masatoyo in southeastern Ōmi, Japan.

In 1582, the samurai and Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke arrived at the estate to confront Masatoyo, who had killed his rival and Yasuke's mentor Kamiizumi Nobutsuna. Masatoyo admitted to the crime, claiming he had done so to lure out and kill Yasuke in order to prove the perceived superiority of his instruction. Yasuke then challenged Masatoyo to a duel, which he ultimately won, avenging Nobutsuna's death. Before leaving, he retrieved Nobutsuna's katana Crimson's Edge and read his mentor's last letter to him.[1]
