The Rusty Mycenaean Waistband was a waistband from a set of armor used by ancient Mycenaean warriors.
By the time of the Peloponnesian War, the waistband taken by three men who argued over it until one was mortally wounded, the other two then fled inside the Tomb of Orion, where they remained until the Spartan misthios Kassandra retrieved it from them for Eppie. The waistband was a in a heavy state of disrepair, and was damaged by the passages of time.[1] The old rusty set was then sacrificed to produced a restored set.[2]
