The Rhamphias Military Camp was a military camp located on the coast on Chalkidike in Makedonia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the camp was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Rhamphias is the name of a Spartan delegate who participated in the Peloponnesian War. He was supposed to assist the Spartan general Brasidas in 422 BCE in Battle of Amphipolis, but returned to Sparta upon receiving the news of Brasidas' death.
