The Paladin Helm was a helmet that the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir retrieved in late 9th century West Francia. Alongside the Paladin Helm, Eivor garnered the rest of its set from her travels in Francia.

During her time in Francia, Eivor traveled to the fortress, Pruvinis, in Melunois. Maneuvering through the Frankish soldiers stationed there, Eivor probed the area and discovered an underground construct. Tearing through breakable walls, Eivor found a chest, opened the chest, and retrieved the Paladin Helm.
