Osberht of Northumbria (died 21 March 867)[1] was King of Northumbria before being succeeded by Ælla.
Ivarr the Boneless, one of the leaders of the Great Heathen Army's invasion of England in 865, claimed to have killed Osberht, as well as Ælla and King Edmund of East Anglia, earning the reputation of "King Killer".[2]
