The Ornate Bow was a bow used commonly in the 5th century BCE Greece. Named after the intricate bronze decorations along its limbs, the bow was as beautiful to look at as it was precise.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Ornate Bow, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including Ares' Bow of Slaughter, the Attika Bow, the Death-Mark Bow, and Valentine's Ornate Bow. These are all the recycled model of the Wings of Ashur, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
