The Olympian Breastplate

The Olympian Breastplate was a breastplate used in the 5th century BCE Greece, particularly within the Sanctuary of Olympia in Elis during the Olympic Games.

During the 428 BCE Olympics, the breastplate was given to the Spartan misthios Kassandra as a reward by Aletes after she helped his friend, Pithekos.[1]
