Niels Gunnarsson was a Norse Viking hunter from Ravensthorpe who dreamed of adventure. Hoping to recruit Niels into the newly-remade British Hidden Ones, Hytham bought the young man from his abusive father, the farmer Gunnar. However, after being trained by Adelaïde in Lunden as an aspiring Hidden One, Neils opted to remain a free agent.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In the late-870s, Niels was instructed by his Mentor-to-be Hytham to accompany the copyist monk Edward to Lunden. Following the trail of a mysterious cult, the two traveled to Scotland.[1]

A young warrior, Niels was every bit undisciplined as he was promising.[1]

Niels is a character appearing in the bande dessinée graphic novel Assassin's Creed: Valhalla – The Hidden Codex, written by Mathieu Gabella.
Niels is a Scandinavian name, mostly Danish, and is the equivalent of "Nicholas".
