New York East – Martial Law was a virtual representation of one of Ratonhnhaké:ton's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus 3.0.[1]
Memory Animus Feedback System[edit | edit source]
- Prevent an execution. (X/3)
- Plant a false document on a snitch. (X/3)
- Beat-up a leader to obtain some information. (X/3)
Description[edit | edit source]
Ratonhnhaké:ton met with a contact to see how to diminish Templar influence in the area.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Connor met Jacob Zenger in a tavern in New York City.
- Jacob: So you are the man taking up arms in our part of the city. Glad to be hearing it.
- Connor: The military seems to be controlling this area.
- Jacob: Yah. Martial law has been declared. For what purposes, I do not know, but there is not a need. I do what I can, but it is hard.
- Connor: I may be able to help.
- Jacob: Very well. I need information on the man responsible for this. He has men all over the place—corrupt Redcoats. Maybe you can get them to talk.
Connor approached Jacob again.
- Jacob: Hallo, friend. The martial law is quite the same. You are needing to start making an impact.
Connor stopped a group of soldiers from killing a civilian.
Connor was approached by a man.
- Civilian: You must be him. I've been waiting too long. I know who the traitors are and they are bringing lists of the patriot leaders around here to the redcoats right now. Find a way to swap this fake list with the real ones and the rebellion can fight on!
Connor followed the snitch and traded the documents.
Connor beat up a soldier to get some information.
- Connor: How do I meet your commander?
- Soldier: Won't happen. He only trusts his closest men. Even if you find him you won't get anywhere near him.
After completing some activities, Connor approached Jacob again.
- Jacob: Ah, the tides of change are coming in. Remain vigilant, and maybe we succeed in putting an end to this.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Ratonhnhaké:ton's actions left the Templars open to one final confrontation for the area.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
This mission, as well as the other Liberation events, is not included in the DNA progress tracker. The name is given through the prompt in the Animus Feedback System that appears for the activities, which have to be completed three times each.
