The Nemean Claws was a mace that was inspired by and dedicated to the legendary Nemean Lion during the 5th century BCE. Crafted to imitate the paw of said lion with its claws extended, a strike from this was like being struck by the lion itself.
The mace was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.[1]
