The Needle was a rare spear used in the 1st century BCE Egypt. Named after its very sharp point, the weapon deadly indeed.
During his hunt for the Order of the Ancients, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa commonly found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and on bodies and in chests during his travels throughout Egypt.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The model of the Needle, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, was recycled as the model of the Hoplite Javelin, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind.
The name of the Needle as well as its in-game description reference the sword of Arya Stark in the A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels and its television adaptation Game of Thrones.
