The Model 3 Revolver is a 19th century revolver that while fairly basic in design, was a significantly powerful weapon for its time.

History

In 1868, this firearm was given by Sergeant Frederick Abberline of the Metropolitan Police Service to the British Assassins Evie and Jacob Frye as a reward for helping him curb the Blighters.

Twenty years later, in the Autumn of 1888, Evie Frye bought this gun for £6,000 during her hunt for Jack the Ripper.

Behind the scenes

The real-life Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolver was first produced around 1870, making its inclusion in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate anachronistic as the game is set in 1868. However, it is not anachronistic by the events of Jack the Ripper sequence.
