Michael, also called Saint Michael the Archangel or simply Saint Michael, was an Archangel in Christian mythology.

Legacy and influence[edit | edit source]

The Isola di San Michele is an island in Venice dedicated to the Archangel,[1] it was first settled as early as 1212.[2]

During the Hundred Years' War, an Isu, thought to be Consus by Abstergo Industries researchers, spoke to Jeanne d'Arc in the guise of Michael, as well as Saints Catherine and Margaret.[3]

Between 1504 and 1505, the Italian Renaissance painter Raphael produced an oil on wood oil painting of saint eponymously titled St. Michael or The Little St. Michael.[4][5]
