The Merovingian Axe was a heavy weapon obtainable by Ezio Auditore da Firenze during the 16th century. During his search for the library of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, it could be purchased from any blacksmith in Constantinople and Cappadocia.

Trivia

• Only the Byzantine guards in Cappadocia wielded this weapon, along with the Almogavar Axe.
