Mercenary Belt

The Mercenary Belt was a type belt that was part of a set of armor commonly worn by mercenaries in Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

Due to the large prevalence of mercenaries during the war, the Spartan misthios Kassandra commonly found this belt in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
