Magistrate of Potidaia
The Magistrate of Potidaia was the Greek magistrate of Potidaia, Makedonia.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 429 BCE, the Magistrate took the lead after the villagers of his community became ill after the village suffered an arson attack.[1] He soon found himself working with the local doctor Timosa, who worked on finding the cure for the people. In response of the plague, he viewed anybody with signs of the plague and killed them to stop the spread. Their disaster soon grabbed notice of both Natakas and his ally, the Eagle Bearer misthios Kassandra. When they arrived, he initially became hostile and ordered them away. However, angry of the doctor's disappearance and the plague's ravage, he was inclined to accept their help.[2]
The magistrate directed Kassandra to the doctor's last location and told her of his guards being sent earlier after her. He continued to cull the problem until he received the doctor but news of his men dead by Kassandra's hand. Arguing, he accused of her of making the villagers worse. In the midst of their argument, the magistrate saw Kassandra arrived as she learned their water supply to be poisoned. The magistrate continued to blame the doctor for the people dying as Kassandra then decided who was responsible for the village's plague.[2]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Depending on the player's choice, the Magistrate either lives or dies by being accused as the plague's culprit or being killed by Timosa and her guards if Kassandra cannot kill Timosa and her men in time.
