Lysandros' Oracle Offerings

The Lysandros' Oracle Offerings was the name given to a sunken temple near the home of the healer Rabiah in Siwa, Egypt.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek helped Rabiah recover the various caches of medicine that had been scattered outside the ruins.[1] At the same time, he also explored and recovered the valuables within the ruins.[2]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The name of this location is an allusion to the ancient Greek practice of making offerings to an Oracle for counsel. This one specifically appears to allude to the Spartan general Lysander, who around 409 BCE came to Siwa to consult with the Oracle. [citation needed]
