Lover's Lake

Lover's Lake was a lake situated in Mount Kasagata in Harima, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe traveled to the lake and met with Koshiro, to whom she returned an old woodworking box. Together, they walked around the lake and discussed his woodworking before heading to a place to sit. Although she offered him a place to live, he stated that he must venture forth on his own. Realizing he was right, they spent the next moment looking out onto the lake. After Koshiro thanked Naoe for his new purpose, they offered each other their farewells before Naoe left.[1]
