Live Bait was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.

Description

A courtesan informed Ezio Auditore of three ambassadors that had come to Rome to meet with the Pope. The courtesan offered to lure them out for Ezio to assassinate.

Dialogue

• Courtesan: Ezio, I will lead you to three ambassadors. They are here to meet with the Pope, but will answer to God much sooner than they expect. Allow me to lure them out before you strike.

Ezio and the courtesan reached the first ambassador.

• Courtesan: Hans! You asked me if I had any friends you could play with! I have invited one!
• Ambassador 1: Who? Where is she?
• Courtesan: Wait right there! (To Ezio) Follow.

Ezio killed the ambassador and they proceeded to the next one.

• Courtesan: Salve, amore (Hello, lover).
• Ambassador 2: This is inappropriate.
• Courtesan: Not compared to what I plan to do to you.

The courtesan lured him into a secluded area and Ezio killed him. The courtesan lead him to the third ambassador, who was accompanied by two Brutes.

• Courtesan: Oh, there you are! Follow me, I have something to show you.
• Brute: If he won't go, I will.
• Ambassador 3: No, I will take care of this.

The courtesan lured him onto a pier.

• Courtesan: Here we are.
• Ambassador 3: What are you planning, woman?
• Courtesan: Patience. Wait here.

Ezio killed the ambassador and talked to the courtesan.

• Courtesan: Addio (Goodbye), Ezio. Stay safe.

Outcome

Ezio assassinated the three ambassadors.
