Overseeing Aileen Bock[edit | edit source]
A higher up at Abstergo Industries, in 1980, Lillian was scheduled to have a meeting with Aileen Bock regarding her Surrogate Initiative. Unfortunately Aileen was late, resulting in Lillian's secretary having to call Bock up to remind her. Nonetheless, Lillian met with a late arriving Aileen, who explained she had been reviewing data. Aileen shared the successful synchronization of an unembedded memory, a significant achievement. Lillian expressed interest but also raised concerns about the experimental methods, reminding Aileen of the importance of collaboration. She urged Aileen to stay focused, acknowledging the importance of both Aileen's and Warren Vidic's work.[1]
On 11 January 1981, Lillian reviewed footage with Aileen, discussing a memory from World War II Germany involving Miriam Kurtz, Aileen's ex-husband's mother. Impressed by Miriam's spirit, Lillian focused on a reference to an artifact mentioned by a man named Barthel. She instructed Aileen to prioritize investigating the artifact, promising to triple her operating budget in exchange for any related recordings. Lillian scheduled a follow-up meeting for Monday morning to discuss further, leaving Aileen with instructions and abruptly ending the conversation.[2]
Phone tap recordings[edit | edit source]
In August of 2013, several illegal phone taps were found in the home of Warren Vidic, head of the Animus Project, and followed Aileen Bock's effort of her Surrogate Initiative. Made over a fourteen month long period, the phone taps were made without the knowledge of anyone recorded. Lillian herself was recorded in two of the phone taps, specifically her meetings with Aileen. After Aileen Bock's passing and Warren Vidic's murder the phone taps were released and gathered by an Abstergo Entertainment research analyst.[1]
Personality and traits[edit | edit source]
Lillian was a woman who prided herself on her professionalism. She mitigated Warren Vidic's cold attitude towards Aileen Bock by simply taking a objective back seat, attempting to alleviate some of Aileen's stress by saying it was in the name of science.[1] She was on occasion however, quite blunt as evident when she wanted to rush Aileen for results on an artifact of interest, giving her a tight deadline, and shutting her office door on her.[2]
