Leda's Farm was a farm within the Sacred Plains of Demeter region of Attika in the 5th century BCE.
History[edit | edit source]
The farm had belonged to Leda, wife of Barnabas. After she died, her daughter inherited the farm. Unfortunately, multiple men, among them Antikles and Pelenos sought to claim the farm for themselves. As their attempts to gain it via a marriage were foiled by Leda's refusal, Antikles and Pelenos attempted to have Leda slain. She slew her would-be-killers, and then killed Antikles and Pelenos with the aid of her father Barnabas and the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
Afterwards, Leda remained on the farm, considering it her duty to stay there, awaiting for Barnabas to retire from the sea.[1] Kassandra intervened, however, and burned down the farm during the night, encouraging Leda to join the crew of the Adrestia.[2]
